Simbang Gabi in Toronto

In reliving a glorious tradition, Koro Pilipino, a choir group who celebrates Pilipino masses every first Saturday of the month at St. Joseph’s church in Scarborough, will be sponsoring Simbang Gabi or Mass of Advent.

These nine days, end of the year and the highlight of a year long celebration of the Holy Eucharist, will start on December 15 and will end with a Misa de Gallo on December 24. See schedule left.

Everybody, including those of non-Filipino heritage is welcome to attend and experience one of the holiest Filipino traditions called Simbang Gabi.

Hope you can all join us and celebrate in this festive occasion.

There will be light refreshment after the mass in the true Filipino culture and tradition.
